Pool Noodles, Buttons, etc.
Some of the Art classes are going to be working on several sculpture projects this year to show it isn't always about clay. The students are making sculptures out of pool noodles, pipe cleaners, wooden dowels and popsicle sticks. They not only show creativity, but have to figure out balance in size and weight to make the sculpture work. When finished the students will choose whether or not to add accents like feathers, tissue paper, buttons, aluminum foil and other misc. materials to choose from. They are having a ball coming up with ideas and building them. It's exciting to see what they come up with and how great they all will look!
