Mrs. Buono took on the challenge!

Notre Dame took on the Principal Challenge to celebrate National Young Readers Week, November 7-11. Since 1989, National Young Readers Week has been an annual event held during the second week of November to raise awareness around the importance of reading. The event is co-founded by Pizza Hut and the Center for the Book in the Library of Congress.

The Principal Challenge is the main event, and BOOK IT! is so excited to see the fun, unique and engaging way you spend your day reading.

Today, Mrs. Buono took that challenge on and read to grades EC3 through 2nd grade, not only reading to them but asking questions, and having each and every one of them involved in the story. Mrs. Buono read from the bed of Mr. Buono's truck making for an exciting environment for the students.
