Math with Avatars!?

The third graders are excited about their subscription to Mathletics this year! Mathletics is a cool software program that allows the students to compete in math concepts not only against themselves, but with student's their age and grade level all over the world!! They are given a generic avatar to begin the year and through competitive math games and skill tests, they can "buy" items for their avatar to give it personality. The more they compete, the more they get to dress up their avatar. It's a really fun way for the children to learn and reinforce their math skills!
