Do you drink soda!?

Students learned about the distillation of homogeneous mixtures, specifically soda. Through this process, they realized how toxic the ingredients can be with regular consumption. Thus, students took an interest in wanting to learn more as well as sharing their insights with their younger peers.

Each group worked on the research, writing, and presentation in ELA as well as Science; they would catered their insights to the assigned audience (EC3, K, and 1 through 7). Following the research and writing assignments the 8th grade students exposed their findings to the students in a brief yet engaging presentation.
